Capable and Honest Mechanics
Dara and Cyrus are very capable and honest mechanics. They do smog, general auto repair and tires and brakes. We are lucky enough to have found them since we live nearby and now always recommend them. They never do repairs that aren't necessary. My brakes were noisy, and I thought I needed new ones, but he said they justed needed cleaning and adjustment and were good for another 50% life. Saved me $300 and most other shops would have just changed the brakes. Also they have great deals on tires, much better than Discount or Big O who try to sell the overpriced brands.

Great Service
I go to C & D auto because the D stands for Dara who is an amazing person. I love this auto repair shop because of him, he never rips people off by telling them the prices are higher than they are. He will tell you exactly what is wrong with your car and what needs to be done for it. He is possibly the most truthful person out there today in auto repair.

Honest and Fast
My whole family goes to C&D Auto Care. They are honest and service is fast. My car was checked over at no charge. They found a serious issue and even showed me just what was wrong. No upsell, just honest repair. If you want someone honest, see Dara at C&D Auto Care.

You can trust this business to do you right
I have been a customer of C & D Auto Care for about 20 years. Prior to their current location they were on Miramar Road in San Diego.
This is a shop that you can trust with absolute confidence to use their judgment as to what does (and does not) need repair or replacing.
They are especially good with Toyota vehicles.
Whether you just want some advice, like their experience on a particular model when purchasing a new car; ask a auto related question on the phone; or some heavy mechanical work, such as an engine swap they cheerfully provide you with good answers or if they don't know, are not afraid to say so. They have done all that and more for me.
This is a father and son business who have built their customer base on honesty, integrity and value. Dad runs the tire shop at the end of the property, and the son runs the repair shop. They are generally a no frills down to earth business. Without question, they back their work to your satisfaction
I have recommended these people to many of my friends who I would say 90% also are now repeat customers. In all of my recommendations I have never found a single complaint about their work quality, honesty, or competence.
